A practical book written from the perspective of someone who's lived through some very scary situations. The writing is simple, not flowery at all, and I found myself sailing through it. The author's handling of the subject is excellent, as is his response to fear. This book has been a blessing and a help to me. (Disclaimer: I have known the author for more than thirty years. But you'd be mistaken to discount this review as biased. Bottom line, if you suffer from fearfulness, you have a lot to gain from reading this book.)Product details

Dan's book is the best teaching and counsel on fear I've ever received. It gets to the heart of the biblical solution to the problem.
Fear is a gateway to deep and profound joy in Christ's Presence which overwhelms our fears. I've experienced this in my own life and Dan very powerfully underscores this reality. Satan uses fear to take us out and render us unfit for advancing God's kingdom, but turns out that fear when rightly understood is a path to Jesus whose love destroys it and makes us more than conquerers.
