These are lush stories of visual art, the heart and the body, in all their beauties and betrayals; there is humour and quirkiness, but beneath that is the reassurance of truth – the hallmark of all quality fiction.

A master wordsmith,she makes mundane situations prickly. The short stories are tiny jewels well worth examining. The girls and women are stronger and more incandescent but the males are worth encountering. I'm ready for more books from this author. There's a wealth of surprises and striking modern cameos too. Roving round tricky moments in relationships, there's more revealed in these nineteen stories than bare flesh. This was a provocative and imaginative collection of stories. I greatly enjoyed it. The range of characters and settings was continually surprising.
Halfway through this and can't wait to read more. Elegant, frank, authentic and very sensual. Fun-sized stories perfect for the commute, at the beach, before bed--any time you can steal away. I've already sent copies to friend and can't recommend this highly enough. Simply gorgeous.
