Once again, Jennifer Appel has knocked it out of the park with another wholesome novel. Captive Freedom is full of excitement, plot twists, and life lessons. And it tells the story of a problem that is all too rampant in our society but about which most people are unaware. I loved every minute of this fun, clean, wholesome book. I can't wait for the next one in the series!

This is the second book by this author I have read, and I thoroughly enjoyed them both. The characters are painted so well, I can picture each and every one of them in my mind. If you're looking for a story of adventure, mystery, heartbreak, and miracles, then this book is the one for you. Wholesome writing with the Gospel at the center of it all.
I love how J Appel gives us connection with her characters. Quickly into the book, I find myself hoping for and loving the main character. The characters deal with very real and common emotional and relational issues. I also so appreciate Appel adding a glimpse into a growing and awful problem in our global society.
